Welcome to the Washington Street
Rehabilitation & Redesign Project.
The contract for construction of the $17 million Washington Street rehabilitation and redesign project has been awarded, and construction began in early February. The project extends the entire length of Washington Street from Observer Highway to 15th Street.
This site will be continually updated with the following data:
- A graphic map that is updated as construction locations change, traffic/bike/pedestrian patterns change, and that highlights items of importance during construction. Examples of items of importance to be shown on the map would include: locations of designated work zones on Washington Street, parking restrictions, designated loading areas for deliveries near construction zones, and the type of work being performed within each zone.
- Bi-Weekly Progress Reports that contain a two week look ahead for all anticipated construction activity, project scheduling, and project sequencing. The site will also have an archive of prior progress reports.
- Photos of Project Performance
- A section devoted to answer the frequently asked questions that we receive from Stakeholders
